The old pot handle disintergrated in the oven as I accidentally turns on the grill. The old pot handle was made of bakelite or something like that.
I was so happy to be able to buy a replavement handle as it was my sister's pot and she was not happy I had broken a seemingly indestructable pot.
The new handle is a lovely stainless steel that looks much nicer that the original andwill last for many years.

I have a chasseur French oven that I have loved and used for 20 years. The knob was made out of a plastic material, and one day it broke off. I contacted Chasseur to see if I could buy a spare part and was pleasantly surprised to learn how easy, cheap and quick it was. Even better - the knob is now made out of stainless steel. Very happy with the product and the customer service.
We are pleased that we were able to replace an old black knob on our large Chasseur pot with a new stainless steel one. Though not cheap, well worthwhile considering the longevity of the pot. Helpful phone advice pre-purchase too. Thanks!

The knob was good quality, however I could not use the screw provided because it was under size and had to use the old one.
