Before using it for the first time, remove the stickers, clean it with hot water and leave it to dry. Then brush the inside with a small amount of vegetable oil. Warm it over a low heat for a few minutes and wipe off the excess oil. Your product is now ready to use!
Usage Tips
Chasseur enamelled cast iron products can be used with all sources of heat:.

Exception of cookware with wooden handles
Match the size of your hob ring to the size of the pot to avoid concentrating heat in one area.
On a glass hob, always lift the cookware rather than dragging it across the surface.
With induction hobs, never use the BOOSTER function. Start on minimum and increase heat gradually.
Do not heat when empty. This can cause irreversible damage to the enamel coating.
Cool before washing. Always leave your cookware to cool down completely before washing it with a non-abrasive sponge.
Stuck food? If any food residue remains, soak the cookware in warm water with a small amount of washing-up liquid before cleaning.
Dishwasher: You can use the dishwasher (except for products with wooden handles), but we do not recommend it regularly — modern cleaning agents may attack and tarnish the enamel over time.
Dry thoroughly before storing. If oxidation occurs (it is not dangerous), simply apply a little fat to the affected areas.
Important: For stirring, do not use metal spatulas or utensils, do not tap the edges of the container, and never cut food inside the cookware — you risk scratching or permanently damaging the enamel.
Thank you for your purchase. We hope you will enjoy using your Chasseur cookware for many, many years!
